Why Dixon Main Street?

 

- Community Family Events -- Events like Scarecrow Festival, Christmas Walk, Musical Fridays, Reagan Trail Days enhance the city we live in and give an identity to our city. They are also affordable activities for our residents and visitors.

- Historic Preservation -- We focus on helping building and business owners to continue enhancing their property to provide a beautiful downtown that is rooted in its history. We aim to help preserve the landmarks in our city through education materials such as our Historic Walking Tour and Historic Churches brochures.

- Community Teamwork -- Many of our festivals provide a place for community groups to showcase who they are and what they do. They are able to hold fundraisers during our events to support their causes. Dixon Main Street also helps other organizations through our volunteer support, such as petunia planting, Petunia Festival events, the Yaddy Memorial Tournament, RR5K, Dixon Riverfront, and much more.
